Frequently Asked Questions

Q:How many years of residence do I need to apply for ADI?

You must be a resident in Italy for at least five years, of which the last two years must be continuous. Italian residence is also required for family members included in the equivalence scale parameters.

Q:How is the ADI paid?

The financial benefit is disbursed via a rechargeable electronic payment card called "Carta di inclusione". Cash withdrawals can be made up to a monthly limit of €100 for a single individual, multiplied by the equivalence scale, and a monthly bank transfer can be made to the landlord specified in the lease agreement.
